Tissue Rearrangement Procedures
Tissue rearrangement is one path to restoring breast symmetry and appearance after a partial mastectomy (lumpectomy). The remaining breast tissue is reconfigured, often in conjunction with a breast lift or reduction, to reshape the breast.
Tissue Replacement Procedures
If a woman needs more than tissue rearrangement after a partial mastectomy (lumpectomy), procedures such as a TDAP flap can be used to take tissue from another part of the body to replace the missing breast tissue.
